 The raspberry pi has a large quantity of uses like a personal dual monitor setup , a web hosting server , a personal NAS server or even you can host it and earn by port forwarding, and a home personal server .

But in this cases the pi has to be run 24/7. While running the pi all time it consumes power and some power is converted to heat energy and that is a problem of users. Over heating can cause the pi to lag and some time even reboot the pi. To stop this problems there are many ways.
